We are excited to announce that Dr. Ghaeth Yassen (The Endodontic Group), Dr. Michael Courtney (Capitol Center for OMFS), and Dr. Jacob Judd (Wichita Endodontics) have converted from Associate to Partner with Specialty1.
Dr. Ghaeth Yassen is a board-certified endodontist who completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University and earned a Ph.D. in Dental Biomaterials from Indiana University. He holds Diplomate status from the American Board of Endodontists and is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the Texas Dental Association. Dedicated to advancing patient care and endodontic science, he has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and regularly reviews for more than 25 dental journals. His research has led to two patents in root canal disinfection, with ongoing contributions to the field.
Dr. Michael Courtney earned his dental and medical degrees from Boston University and Thomas Jefferson University, respectively, and completed oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Thomas Jefferson. He also completed a fellowship in Orthognathic and TMJ Reconstruction at the Carolinas Center. Driven by a deep commitment to patient well-being, Dr. Courtney takes pride in providing compassionate, personalized care, ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their surgical experience.
Dr. Jacob Judd, originally from McKinney, Texas, earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Brigham Young University and a DDS from Texas A&M (Baylor) College of Dentistry, where he was recognized for academic excellence. Passionate about saving teeth, relieving pain, and helping people smile, Dr. Judd emphasizes compassionate communication and high-quality care. He completed advanced specialty training in endodontics at Columbia University in New York City and is a board-eligible member of the American Board of Endodontics, dedicated to staying current with modern, evidence-based dental practices.
